Monument of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov

Monument to Anton Pavlovich Chekhov was installed in 2010 in the park in the pedagogical college for the 150th anniversary of the writer's birth. Anton Pavlovich with his family lived in Istra for two years. Nearby, in the Chikinsky hospital, the future doctor Chekhov was practicing and having received a doctor's diploma. The authors of the monument are the architect V. Syagin and the artist V. Surovtsev.
